What Ofsted said about us...

Staff use assessments effectively to find out about what children can do, the progress they make and their developmental needs.

Staff ensure parents understand how they can support their children's development in the home. For example, parents receive frequent updates about their children's progress and how they can help to move children forward.

Children, including those who speak English as an additional language, make good progress. Many children learn to speak English in the nursery and leave feeling confident when they move on to different settings.

Staff promote healthy practices. Children enjoy frequent exercise, such as dancing, and learn about healthy eating. For example, they enjoy balanced meals and play games which teach them about the benefits of different foods

Our Report

Makaton Training

All of our staff are trained in Makaton sign language to a Level 2 standard.

Adding additional methods of communication aids the children to develop and express themselves in and outside of the nursery environment.

We also use visual aids across our learning environment promoting access and understanding to the space in which the children learn.

On site SENCO/INCO

Here at Honey Pots we pride ourselves on our positive working relationship and in house knowledge relating to children with SEND, we have a dedicated and experienced SENCO/INCO who is on hand to aid children, families and others with any concerns or matters relating to additional provisions that may be required.

Home Cooked Style Meals

We offer in house cooked meals catering for a wide range of dietary requirements, our menus are rotated weekly giving variety and a balanced meal plan to the children in our care,

In addition to lunches we offer Snack and Tea time meal options upon request.

We are also proud to announce we have a Food Hygiene rating of 5 giving you piece of mind when making your meal plans.
